Description


Binary Defense is seeking a talented Data Scientist.


Responsibilities


  • Utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large cybersecurity data sets.
  • Collaborate with software engineering and product teams, detection engineers and security engineers to integrate algorithms to enhance software and solutions to capture improvements to complex data goals.
  • Utilize large data and software analysis to contribute to product, services, and detection engineering goals of the organization.
  • Develop data-driven solutions
Requirements


  • Experience supporting data science requirements in large cybersecurity applications
  • Knowledge of Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Mathematics concepts
  • Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a data scientist or machine learning engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages used for AI/ML development.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred


  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services such as Amazon SageMaker, Google Cloud AI Platform, or Azure Machine Learning.
  • Strong work ethics and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Relevant Threat Intelligence, Security Research, Security Engineering and Analysis methods required.
