JOB SUMMARY 

  

The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for constructing and assembling cabinets using various fastening hardware and woodworking tools. This role requires strong hand-eye coordination, proficiency with a range of tools, and knowledge of woodworking techniques. The assembler must be capable of interpreting diagrams and instruction manuals independently. Additionally, they are responsible for conducting a final inspection to ensure cabinets meet company standards before packaging and palletizing for shipment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    

  • Assemble cabinets by accurately      placing screws and bolts in designated holes to ensure structural      integrity and suitability for equipment storage.
  • Execute tasks meticulously and      precisely to contribute to the organization's future growth and maintain      quality standards.
  • Pay meticulous attention to      detail to identify any repair or replacement needs, ensuring high-quality      outcomes.
  • Conduct final inspections to      verify the assembled cabinets meet company standards before completing      wrapping and palletizing procedures.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • 2 years of Cabinetry 
  • 2 years of Carpentry 
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical      skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow      oral and written instructions effectively.
  • Competence in using both hand and      power tools required for cabinet assembly.
  • Capability to collaborate within      a team-oriented environment.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a      fast-paced work environment.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy      objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in reading a tape      measure accurately.
  • Familiarity with using a power      drill efficiently.
