WESTSIDE IS LOOKING FOR A BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR TO JOIN THE HUMAN RESOURCES TEAM!


The Human Resources Benefits Administrator position is responsible for day to day administration of the company benefits. This includes FMLA, Disability, workers comp, 401k, life insurance, medical, dental, vision, and any supplemental insurances provided.

Benefits Administrator responsibilities

  1. Benefits administration, including answering employee questions, processing and approving enrollments and changes, investigating and resolving issues, and ensuring all documentation is in compliance with all appropriate laws and regulations, including updating benefits summary documents and summary plan descriptions.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource benefit data in the HRIS system.
  3. Support payroll processing by entering relevant information into Payroll Items Smartsheet, reviewing all payroll items on payroll Smartsheet, auditing payroll reports and ensuring all items have been entered correctly.
  4. Act as liaison between Westside and external benefit providers and vendors.
  5. Assist in annual benefit plan renewal, including analysis of plans and contribution.
  6. Assist in planning and implementation of open enrollment, including HRIS set up and communication to employees.
  7. Manage Leave administration for FMLA, personal, and military leaves of absence, including tracking time off and return, tracking benefit payments, processing all paperwork, and ensuring all documentation is in compliance with all appropriate laws, policies and regulations.
  8. Manage Disability Accommodation request process, including ensuring all documentation is timely and in compliance with all appropriate laws, policies and regulations.
  9. Audit all benefit invoices and reports to ensure accuracy in premiums paid.
  10. Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration.
  11. Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.


Requirements

MINIMUM OBJECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

  1. At least 1 year experience in accounting or human resources.
  2. Associates level college education, or equivalent work experience and/or SHRM approved certifications.

PREFERRED OBJECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Prior experience in a non-profit and/or medical setting
  2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Human Resources or other related fields
