• Troubleshoots, repairs and makes adjustments to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on production machinery and support equipment
• Performs inspection of blow mold machines, palletizers, strappers, wrappers and laser date coders
• Performs changeovers of blow molders, palletizers and conveyor lines per production demands
• Rebuilds sub-assemblies to OEM specifications
• Performs preventive maintenance on blow molders, conveyors, palletizers, strappers, and wrappers
• Troubleshoots electrical control and distribution systems to include 24vac, 120vac, 277vac and 480vac controller and monitor control systems
• Some programming and troubleshooting of PLC’s
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines
• Prepares reports documenting work performed
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines
• Fabricates and welds basic steel projects
• Performs other related duties as assigned
- Must have a high school diploma or GED. Three years of relevant experience (one employer) may be substituted
- Must be willing and able to work any shift- total flexibility
- Four (4) years hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience or Technical Degree
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics and trouble shooting skills
- Outstanding Safety record and commitment
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems
- Forklift experience preferred
