Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) - PRN

Location: Cynthiana, KY (Harrison, Bourbon, Scott, and Nicholas counties)

Schedule: PRN (as needed)

About the role:  

The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats participants upon referral by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in accordance with the order from the physician. Provides treatment through a variety of therapeutic procedures and activities, as well as the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment, with the intent of maximizing functional potential and safety for the participant.

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an institution accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education or the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Must have passed the NBCOT OTR examination.
• Must be licensed in the state of Kentucky as an Occupational Therapist.
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements, with personal auto liability insurance of $100,000/$300,000 in bodily injury coverage.
• 3 years’ experience preferred, a minimum of 2 years’ experience with geriatrics required.
• Additional experience with pediatrics is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Employees will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
