JOB SUMMARY


Warehouse Associate is responsible for incoming and outgoing materials in the warehouse. Responsible for ensuring the warehouse functions in a safe, clean and orderly manner. This is a hands-on position requiring various duties within the department including: office administration, warehouse duties, and customer service.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Unload deliveries, inspect material for damages, ensures material is correct style, color, quantity, Stores, restocks and shelves material
  • Marks materials with identifying information
  • Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received
  • Checks for damaged goods and communicates with appropriate department lead regarding product damage
  • Perform general warehouse duties as required by management.
  • Regular and reliable attendance


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Works under immediate supervision.
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, multi-tasking, continuous follow through, k Knowledge in floor products preferred, but not necessary.
  • Needs to be detail-orientated, have organizational skills, physical strength to lift and move material.
  • Bilingual a plus! (Spanish, Portuguese)
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Skilled in using a forklift, preferred verifiable forklift certification.
