JOB SUMMARY

  

The Multifamily Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all administrative, purchasing, receiving, deliveries, warehouse scheduling, and field operations activities for the assigned location(s). This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring effective results aligned with Markraft’s core values and customer service standards. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and continuously improve processes for maximum efficiency in purchasing, job tracking, scheduling, delivery, installation job completion, and warranty services. 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to field service and operations staff, setting and monitoring performance expectations and accountability within the Multifamily division. 
  • Coordinate the setup of assembly sites at various locations, collaborating with production managers to ensure efficient operations. 
  • Travel between locations is necessary to oversee operations and provide support. 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new systems and ensure proper training and utilization among personnel. 
  • Hire, train, and develop all operations and administrative associates, ensuring alignment with company goals and values. 
  • Maintain accurate reporting and recording of materials received through company systems.
  • Ensure harmonious coordination between assembly operations, scheduling, and on-time delivery of products.
  • Uphold a safe and clean working environment in work areas and sites the role oversees, ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and field vehicles. 
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction through effective problem0solving and proactive communication. 
  • Perform other duties as necessary to support operational efficiency and customer service excellence.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education, Experience, Qualifications:


· 5 to 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or home renovation industries.

· High school diploma required. College or technical degree in related subject matter, preferred.

· Valid Driver’s license


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:


The ideal candidate will have experience and abilities in the following areas to be successful in this role:

· Operations Management: Demonstrated success in overseeing various aspects of operations, including purchasing, logistics, warehouse management, and field operations.

· Project Management: Experience in managing complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring efficient resource allocation, timely delivery, and quality control.

· Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, set clear expectations, provide direction, and foster a positive work environment.

· Process Improvement: Track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and streamline workflows.

· Customer Service: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience resolving customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

· IT Systems: Familiarity with IT systems and technology used in operations management, including inventory management software, project management tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

· Demonstrated ability with leadership, strategic thinking, problem solving, and industry specific knowledge.
