Description

Sunbelt Fire, a leading distributor of apparatus and equipment to the fire industry in the southeast, is growing, and looking to add a full-time, dedicated Fixed Operations Manager to our leadership team. This role will encompass comprehensive leadership and management across all fixed operations, specifically focusing on service and parts aftermarket support for fire trucks, compressors and SCBAs. 


In this position at Sunbelt Fire, we’re looking for someone with experience and initiative to drive change and growth, but who is also comfortable managing and working within well-defined processes. Reporting directly to Sunbelt Fire’s COO, the Fixed Ops Manager will assume responsibility for leading and managing parts and service managers across our company's branches. With a progressive mindset, this individual will spearhead initiatives to enhance our three existing branches while strategically launching new ones within Sunbelt’s geographical footprint. Moreover, this individual will be integral to our leadership team, ensuring that all profit centers align harmoniously to realize the company’s overarching business plan, inclusive of its 10-year, 3-year, and annual objectives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Drive operations growth and profitability while managing inventory and capital expenditures to create efficiencies, ensure safety and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Lead, manage, and be accountable to the fixed operations team for achieving our goals and commitments
  • Establish, implement, and/or refine operations core processes to reduce errors and provide exceptional customer service 
  • Develop strategic relationships with key customers and vendor partners to identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate corrective action of any issues

Core Competencies/Skills/Education: 

  • Passion about the mission of Sunbelt Fire, our core values, and serving those who save and protect lives
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the aftermarket service and parts field
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving operational excellence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm about using technology, systems and processes to provide an excellent customer experience
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
  • Understanding or prior background in EOS a plus

Position Expectations:

Full-time. Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with some nights and weekends as required. Regular travel to visit company branches, customers or training events.

Salary Description
$125,000-$175,000, DOE
