Description
Hudson Meridian is seeking a qualified, skilled and results driven Construction Project Manager / Superintendent hybrid for a role that is focused on NYS counties from Westchester up to Warren County, though most heavily situated in and around Albany and Schenectady.
It is necessary to have a strong and proven background in on-call contract management managing multiple projects ongoing concurrently. Must have the ability to be on site in those counties.
Experience should include the following:
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and verbal/written communication skills required
- Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team-oriented environment
- Experience supervising Subcontractors
- Experience estimating required staff time to establish staff budgets per project
- Flexibility to effectively deal with dynamic project priorities and timelines through analytical problem-solving

- Ability to manage multiple priorities

- Computer skills for scheduling, estimating, and administrative responsibilities
- Assist with project specific cost estimating

- Review of safe work practices with labor force prior to project commencement
- Holding daily safety meetings with crew & documenting those meetings
- Incident / Accident reporting
- Performing routine site and safety inspections
- As a member of the Operations Team, participate in the management of daily operational issues, including long-term planning and resource coordination, identifying and improving procedures, ongoing project support
Requirements
Education & Certifications:
- Required - B.S Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related construction discipline preferred
- Required - Minimum of five (5) years of responsible experience in construction management, including project management, site management, equipment
- Required - OSHA 30 Certificate completed within past 5 years
- Computer skills for the Microsoft Suite, P6 (or MS Project)
- Desired - PMP or CCM certifications
- Desired - Site Safety/SST
