Summary

The Senior Sales Operations and Trial Specialist is responsible for optimizing the sales process and facilitating sales training, product demonstration, and sales effectiveness. This individual is also responsible for delivering optimal service and results to customers during all stages of a Trial Program. They provide support to the Strategic Account Managers, Sales Management, and all field Sales personnel to ensure long-term, successful relationships are built and maintained with our clients.


Responsibilities

  • Identifies opportunities for sales productivity improvement, collaborates with Manager of Sales Operations to evaluate sales process optimization opportunities, and assists Sales Leadership in facilitating a culture of continuous improvement that creates an optimal client experience.
  • Documents, recommends, and maintains new processes/enhances current processes to improve department efficiencies; maintains documentation that defines all internal team members’ roles and responsibilities pre- and post-trial; communicates cross-functionally with other departments to streamline communication between prospect and internal stakeholders.
  • Partners with Manger of Sales Operations to provide support, direction, coaching, and training to new Sales Operations team members, and conducts demonstrations and training on the Asurint application and available integrations.
  • Establishes trial accounts, new users, and trial packages; collaborates with internal team members to define expectations for prospect account trials; works with Implementation Project Manager to transition trial clients.
  • Monitors and manages the full trial process (including making administrative decision that impact trial-to-client conversion rate) to attain new business and increase revenue through exceptional support and development of solutions to support client business processes. 
  • Provides reporting to Sales Operations Leadership regarding all trial activities, accomplishments, and areas of opportunity; provides sales support that includes reporting and paperwork assistance; oversees the Sales Operation Task Queue to ensure timely completion of all task requests and assists with completing tasks as needed.
  • Oversees the generation and execution of analyzers, proposals, sales agreements, addendums, and client correspondences for both new and existing accounts; coordinates the Configure, Price, Quote process to ensure proper pricing is attached to proposals from the Sales team.
  • Oversees the Credentialing of new clients as the first step of the implementation process.
  • Remains proficient and knowledgeable on company’s products and services, as well as being aware of industry trends and competition.

Requirements
  • Experience with Asurint’s implementation and sales processes is required.
  • Intermediate technical knowledge of Salesforce.com is required.
  • Experience leading, training, and providing support to sales teams is required.
  • Experience identifying and developing methods to improve the entire sales cycle is preferred.
  • History of collaborating with all corporate functional departments.
  • Experience with the legal/court system is preferred.
  • Experience with background screening is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required. Relevant business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM, etc. is preferred. Salesforce is required.
  • Certifications or licensure: Driver’s license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required.
  • Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
  • Years of experience supervising: None.

Working Conditions

  • The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, including the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
  • This position is performed remotely within the United States or in an office setting in the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, although off-site meetings in various settings may occur.
  • Inside Asurint’s office environment, the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
  • In a remote setting, the employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, for arranging the off-site workspace in an ergonomically sound manner, and for maintaining standard Internet speeds in order to work effectively.   
  • In a remote setting, the employee is required to ensure that all equipment and records that are the property of Asurint but have been relocated to the off-site workplace, are maintained in a safe and secure manner and are used only for business purposes. 
  • The schedule is generally normal Eastern Time Zone business hours (unless otherwise communicated based on position or working location), although the employee may be required to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings. 
  • Some travel by personal automobile and a valid driver’s license is required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Ability to lift light objects (less than 20 pounds) and carry them short distances (20 feet or less) is required.
