Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is one of the largest orthopedic practices in the country. We are expanding and we are looking for individuals that would like to be a part of our growing Human Resources TEAM!! TOA concentrates on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system which allow our patients to live their best lives. Our practice includes all the clinical elements of a top-notch orthopedic practice, including ancillary services, revenue cycle, and all the supporting administrative functionality. 


While TOA has become one of the largest orthopedic practices in the country, we are highly focused on continuing to grow our organization. The footprint of TOA already extends throughout middle Tennessee, north to Clarksville, down to Columbia and as far east as Knoxville. 


Through organizational growth, we have an immediate opening for a Recruiting HR Coordinator. Under the direction of the Regional Director of Human Resources, and working closely with the Recruiting Manager, the individual in this role will provide an important element of operational support in all areas of our Human Resources, but specifically in recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, benefits, reporting and overall HR administration. 


Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for the Recruiting HR Coordinator include:

  • Recruiting. Partnering with our Recruiting Manager, responsibilities will include sourcing candidates to build a pipeline of talent, screening candidates for qualification and fit, and reviewing and updating job descriptions.
  • HRIS Administration. Provide general support for the administrative elements of the HR team through the HRIS. This position will work closely with our applicant tracking system, managing the workflow of offers of employment and onboarding, offboarding, as well as coordination of our bi-weekly new employee onboarding events. 
  • Human Resources. Will provide daily support with benefits, ad-hoc reporting, administration, and other HR duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate for the Recruiting HR Coordinator will have demonstrated success in these primary areas of focus and responsibility.

  • Successful experience with recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding – including both administrative and cultural elements.
  • Demonstrated fluency in HR systems, to include HRIS and ATS applications. Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
  • Fundamental and sound knowledge of HR practices, protocols, and regulations. This should include working knowledge of basic benefit plans.
  • Exceptional ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, with the demonstrated capacity to work across geographic and organizational boundaries fluidly.
  • Must be highly detail oriented, with the ability to take direction from multiple business partners yet work on a self-sustained, independent manner.
  • Business systems and basic data analysis capacities are a plus. MS Office fluency (doc, xls, ppt) is a requirement, with ability to harvest data from the HRIS.
  • A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field is preferred, but not required. Commensurate human resources experience in a healthcare practice is sufficient.
  • Other skills and competencies:
    • Must be organized with exceptional follow through – must deliver on time every time.
    • Must be an exceptional communicator, able to make connections across the organization, working with employees in multiple locations.
    • Must have the ability to work independently, focusing on achieving organizational goals and tasks with drive and energy to succeed.

* This position is on-site daily. Must have access to reliable transportation should the need to travel to clinics arise.
