POSITION: Marketing Videographer

CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal

STATUS: Exempt

REPORTS TO: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

SUPERVISES: N/A

LOCATION: On-site in Williamstown, MA

COMPENSATION: $1000/week

HIRING TIMELINE: Applications to be accepted until the position is filled with a priority application deadline of March 20. Application review and interviews to be conducted starting March 25, with an anticipated start date of June 5 and end date of August 17.

Williamstown Theatre Festival is seeking a talented and creative Videographer to capture and showcase the 2024 Season. If you have a passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for detail, we want to invite you to be a vital part of our team.


Primary Responsibilities and Expectations

The Videographer reports directly to the year-round Marketing & Communications Coordinator. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Being present and executing the archival video shoots for all WTF productions
  • Overseeing the departmental video content for the programs
  • Creating engaging video content for all WTF marketing channels
  • Collaborating with members of the Marketing & Public Relations team in the development of Festival content
  • Managing the videography schedule in collaboration with the Marketing Assistant
  • Documenting all Festival activities
  • Diligent archiving of all season video content in collaboration with the Marketing & Public Relations team.
  • Observing all Festival safety protocols
  • Producing work that is innovative, imaginative, original, and creative in character
  • An essential function of this job is in-person work in Williamstown, MA.
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Videographer, preferably in a theater or live performance setting.
  • Proficient in videography equipment and software.
  • Strong editing skills using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Final Cut Pro.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a high level of creativity and proficiency in visual storytelling.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with artists, production teams, and marketing professionals.
