Job Summary

The Regional Operations Manager works under the direction of the VP of Operations to provide leadership, training, and direction to the warehouse managers to improve efficiency, turnover, and productivity in the warehouses. The ROM is responsible for overseeing multiple locations daily operations, training, and recruiting remotely. Travel is required across locations for warehouse evaluations three to four times a year. The ROM will ensure that warehouse managers are performing their jobs in accordance with K&M’s Vision, Mission, and Values and that they are looking out for the best interest of K&M Tire.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership and direction to the warehouse managers. Visit and work with each location on special projects or needed improvements.  
  2. Responsible for managing and resolving conflict in the work environment by using the company values as a guide. 
  3. Coordinate warehouse activities and direct the staff performing routine duties as part of the warehouse operation.
  4. Compile, record and prepare reports on various warehouse activities.
  5. Assist in the overall management of the warehouse operations including developing policy, procedures, and plans.
  6. Complete Warehouse Evaluations along with the WSM 3-4 times a year in all locations. 
  7. Audit Warehouse Managers to ensure all job requirements are being fulfilled.
  8. Work with T&D to organize and implement training programs for all levels of the region.
  9. Ensure Safety Standard Operating Procedures are updated and being followed throughout the region.
  10. Actively lead and guide the warehouses in pursuit of 5 Star Qualification and KPIs.
  11. Perform other job duties as appropriate and assigned.
  12. Support company goals and uphold K&M Values.

  3. Must possess a friendly and helpful attitude.
  4. Must possess strong planning and organizational skills. 
  5. Ability to work in a multi-tasking, professional environment.
  6. Must pay close attention to details.
  7. Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  8. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive any of our delivery vehicles.
  9. Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
  10. Knowledge and ability to adequately use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams  


Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

5+ years of leadership experience.
