We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and community-oriented individual to join our team as Home Delivery Coordinator in our Mt. Airy store. This is a full-time position, with an anticipated 30 hours per week. A valid driver's license is required. If you have a passion for great customer service then we want to hear from you!

Requirements


Responsibilities Include:

  • Respond to, prep, and pack home delivery orders quickly and efficiently.
  • Address customer requests and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Identifying ways in which current processes could be improved and implementing the changes in tandem with store management.
  • Attaining departmental sales and margin goals while being proactive in seeking ways to increase them.
  • Being proactive in creating new ways to assist in the marketing of our home delivery service, including goods.
  • Competency in day-to-day, strategic, and long-term thinking.
  • The ability to respond to issues in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Cashiering and payment management.
  • Assisting other departments as needed and when directed by store management.


Requirements

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Morning/Evening/Weekend availability.
  • A commitment to impeccable customer service.
  • Ability to keep detailed and clear records in accordance with Co-op policies.
  • Strong communication skills, including with management, staff, and members.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain calm under stress.
  • Able to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op.
Salary Description
Starting $17 per hour
