Description
i2Vision is currently accepting applications for a seasoned Account Supervisor to join their growing and dynamic medical communications and marketing agency. If you are a seasoned expert in the field with experience managing multiple accounts and projects with a focus in the medical and science fields (or the ability to quickly learn and get up to speed), this position may be for you.
Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Vice President of Client Services, the Account Supervisor has oversight of all projects for their assigned client workload and provides leadership to ensure all deliverables executed on time and within budget parameters. The position serves as direct supervisor to junior staff assigned to them which can includes Account Executives and Coordinators. The Account Supervisor is considered the lead and owner of their respective client accounts and exercises the requisite autonomy and responsibility. Successful candidates are proactive self-starters, effective at managing multiple projects to successful completion, adept at building effective partnerships with a variety of stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  
Essential Duties
Account Supervision
  • Oversee execution, analysis, and optimization of all projects for their clients. 
  • Provide strategic insight and feedback on deliverables created by the team. 
  • Maintain long-term and profitable customer relationships. 
  • Ensure financial health of client accounts by working with SAE's/AE's/AC’s on project scopes, ongoing financial management, and final project reconciliations. 
  • Possess and continuously grows their understanding of the industry landscape, topical issues, and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with Project Management to establish timelines and meet stated deadlines. 
  • Aid in new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation. 
  • Liaise with Leadership team on account health, team dynamics, areas of advantage, opportunities for improvement, and analysis of processes and potential improvements.
Management Duties
  • Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate direct reports in the department. 
  • Guide SAE's/AE's when issues arise on projects by removing impediments, securing resources, and other appropriate means of support.
  • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals and support your direct reports in doing the same. 
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Experience and Education

  • 4 or more years of agency experience at a fast-paced and client centered organization as an account supervisor or similar role.   
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field. 
  • Demonstrated customer service and partnership building skills. 
  • Previous experience in the medical/science related fields and understanding of terminology and concepts is strongly desired. The willingness to learn is required. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing successful project teams and providing effective leadership and management of direct reports. 
  • Ability to travel for work as needed for onsite time with clients and attend industry events.  
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), video conference applications (e.g. Zoom, Teams, etc.), and project management software; ability to quickly learn new programs.

Salary Description
$110,000.00 - $130,000.00
