Assembler I - Load Bay / Temp to Hire 

MoboTrex has an opportunity to join our growing organization as a full-time Assembler I / Temp to Hire,  in Wired Cabinets, Signals or Fabrication at our location in Pflugerville, TX. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the primary objective is to assemble enclosures and panels and/or sub-assemblies in accordance to shop procedures and standard routing times.  

To perform this role successfully, the ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have manual dexterity for wiring, have mechanical aptitude and experience with manual and powered hand-tools in order to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.

Job Functions:

• Read point-to-point electrical diagrams, blueprints and/or bullet point instructions when required.
• Cut to length, strip, tin and crimp wire. 
• Use powered and un-powered hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers and wrenches, drills, shear, powered screwdrivers.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams and instruction bullet points and assemble sub-assemblies.
• Accurately eliminate and route wires at the designated locations as described by an electrical diagram.
• Solder wires to specified points.
• Complete inventory-tracking paperwork
• Cross train in other areas  

 Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED and relevant electronics/mechanical assembly experience
• Must have an aptitude for electronic control equipment.
• Must be able to pay attention to detail consistently.
• Must be able to work in a team environment with willingness to help where      needed
• Have adaptability and flexibility to cross-train in other areas.
• Must be able to solder.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and/or instructional diagrams.
• Experience and/or ability to use manual and powered hand-tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers, and wrenches, drills, shears, powered screwdrivers!

Physical Demands: 

• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, talk, hear and use hands to finger, handle or touch      objects or controls.
• Must be able to sit or stand as required for the length of the shift.
• Requires repetitive use of hands.
