JOB SUMMARY 

This is an in-house role supporting the Chief Legal Officer.  We ae looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, highly organized paralegal to join our company.   This position would work within all divisions of our company and across a range of issues, including governance, compliance, business dealings, M&A, HR and litigation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage corporate records; assist in drafting and management of Board Materials and other corporate matters. 
  • Work with CT Corp on managing and maintaining contractor’s licensing, business registrations and other corporate filings. 
  • Assist field in managing state specific contractor’s licensing. 
  • Assist in preparation and review of commercial contracts, leases, supply and purchase agreements.  and information requests.
  • Assist with nationwide-litigation management and organization. 
  • Liaison with field on various legal issues, including m&A,real estate, human resources, regulatory and intellectual property matters as needed.
  • Management of invoices from outside counsel and service providers.
  • Undertaking other duties reasonable and consistent with the position and as needed.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.  Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of Corporate paralegal experience.
  • Capable of working independently
  • Strong focus on organizational skills.
