Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is one of the largest orthopedic practices in the country. We are expanding and we are looking for individuals that would like to be a part of our growing Payer Integrity TEAM!! TOA concentrates on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system which allow our patients to live their best lives. Our practice includes all the clinical elements of a top-notch orthopedic practice, including ancillary services, revenue cycle, and all the supporting administrative functionality. 


While TOA has become one of the largest orthopedic practices in the country, we are highly focused on continuing to grow our organization. The footprint of TOA already extends throughout middle Tennessee, down to Columbia and as far east as Knoxville. 


The Payer Integrity/AR Support Specialist will report directly to the AR Manager and will become an important contributor to our high functioning team. You can expect daily interactions with the Payer Integrity and Ancillary AR Specialist teams. As a member of the Payer Integrity team, you may interact daily with the Manager of Payer Integrity, Director of Revenue Cycle, AR Team managers and supervisors, 


Responsibilities

Specifically, here is what the Payer Integrity/AR Support Specialist will be accomplishing:

  • Manage all outgoing correspondence for the Payer Integrity and Ancillary AR team.
  • Manage all incoming correspondence via team’s group email for Payer Integrity team and both CBO AR teams.
  • Manage Incoming Patient Portal Messages/Communications in NexGen.
  • Manage and process adjustments in worklogs or reports as assigned.
  • Uploading Medical Records to Payer Sites.
  • Manage reports as assigned for Payer Integrity team and Ancillary AR team.
  • Coverage for team members when applicable.
  • Other duties as needed.  
Requirements
  • High school and/or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience, preferably in an orthopedic group practice.
  • Experian product knowledge is desirable.
  • Must be an exceptional communicator.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, focusing on achieving organizational goals and tasks with drive and energy to succeed.
  • Maintain any applicable continuing education requirements.
