Binary Defense is looking for an intern to work in our Finance Department. You will be assigned to work within one or multiple teams, getting experience in accounting, budgeting, and/or financial reporting. We are open to internships full-time over the summer.

Key Responsibilities

· Effectively collaborate within the team to: 

    Complete GL accounting journal entries and reconciliations

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in the accounting system 

Help to improve Sage Intacct system utilization and reporting

Assist with financial modeling and reporting

Collaborate with other departments to complete accounting and finance tasks

· Actively engage with a mentor and your team

· Other projects and assignments that will help provide exposure to our business and accounting/finance processes

Education/Experience

· Must be a US Citizen and reside in the continental US.

· Pursuing a Bachelor's Accounting, Finance, or similar degree.

· Enrolled in a full-time degree program, and either a Junior or Senior.

· Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.

· Enthusiastic, curious learner, and highly collaborative.
