About the Position:

The SharePoint Administrator is responsible to lead the strategic design and implementation of SharePoint solutions from conception to completion, ensuring business needs and security standards are achieved. This role involves technical expertise in Microsoft SharePoint, including Enterprise Content Management, Collaboration, and workflow automation. The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for understanding financial software systems and conducting thorough security reviews of financially significant systems. This position is the subject matter expert (SME) and Security Administrator in SharePoint, and other software systems as assigned. The SharePoint Administrator will design guidance, Roles Based Access (RBAC) management, File Management and Collaboration Expertise, Versioning, Taxonomy design, Access Reviews, and support across the organization while ensuring our financial data remains secure and compliant with industry standards.

Essential Duties:

  • SharePoint Solution Design, Implementation, and Administration. 
  • Leads the planning, design, and implementation of SharePoint projects from start to finish.
  • Works closely with IT Manager and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translates them into technical solutions.
  • Customizes SharePoint systems according to the organization's needs, including developing, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows.
  • Assists with conducting comprehensive security reviews of financially significant systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Develops and implements security policies and procedures for SharePoint and other financial systems as assigned.
  • Stays up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to protect sensitive financial data.
  • Serves as the go-to expert for SharePoint, providing guidance and support to end-users and team members.
  • Trains staff on SharePoint functionalities and best practices.
  • Collaborates with business units to ensure the seamless integration of SharePoint solutions with existing systems.
  • Monitors and analyzes the performance of SharePoint solutions, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance functionality, user experience, and security.
  • Leads the evaluation and adoption of new SharePoint features and updates.

  • Assures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations, and adhere to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
  • Follows policies and procedures; complete administrative tasks correctly and on time, including mandatory Bank Compliance Training; supports the Bank’s goals and values; benefits the bank through outside activities.

  • Minimum 5 years related SharePoint work experience. A combination of work experience and technical certifications may be acceptable.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a SharePoint Administrator.
  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful SharePoint projects.
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, design, and security best practices.
  • Experience conducting security reviews of financial software systems, with knowledge of financial regulations and standards (e.g., GLBA, GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks.
  • Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in comprehension and analysis of complex technical concepts and business processes, able to conduct independent research, produce detailed and accurate work, problem solve, positive customer interactions, sound and logical reasoning, mathematics, strong written and verbal communications skills, produce and present presentations, analytical reasoning, stress management, multiple concurrent task handling, and manage shifting priorities.
