Description

The Senior Property Manager oversees, plans, and manages the day-to-day operations of their property. They are responsible for managing all on-site compliance activities and for the overall performance of the portfolio which includes direct oversight of the marketing program and financial performance. 


Responsibilities:

  • Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff. 
  • Creating and implementing strategies for business growth.  
  • Hiring new staff within a department or business unit. 
  • Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients. 
  • Working closely with asset managers, regional manager, and other senior staff to retain clients. 
  • Developing new solutions to meet client needs. 
  • Improving internal processes for better productivity
  • Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports 
  • Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit
  • Keen strategic thinking and planning 
  • Understanding of budget management and financial monitoring
  • Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills 
  • Good organization and time management
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
  • In-depth knowledge of their industry.

Requirements

  

Three (3) years management experience including supervising a team at large property.  

Bachelor's degree preferred. 

Flexible, outgoing, authentic, and confident personality.

Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment. 

Entrepreneurial spirit. 

Promoting opportunities in the company and assist in building the team.  

Yardi experience preferred. 

Able to effectively communicate with a range of people and personalities.  

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 

Demonstrated ability to build relationships with staff members and the community. 

Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. 

Takes a proactive approach to anticipating and preventing problems. When a problem occurs, define those problems, investigate obstacles, gather relevant information, decide whether solving the problem should be a group decision, generate and analyze alternate solutions and arrive at a workable solution.
