Requirements

Title: SharePoint Consultant


Job Location: 901 S. Bolmar St, West Chester, PA 19382 and various unanticipated worksites in U.S.


Primary Duties:

Responsible for design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint sites and applications. Consult in technical and business process decisions as a SharePoint subject matter expert. Make recommendations pertaining to SharePoint information architecture, taxonomy design and guide on the technical direction of the SharePoint platform. Work with customers to define ideal site metadata, layout, structure, storage. Design the integration architecture for on-premises Network file-shares migration to SharePoint Online. Design/develop or update complex workflows and forms. Automate processes and perform systems management tasks. Develop and configure new applications in the SharePoint Online environment. Train Users in SharePoint and on the new applications built in SharePoint.


Roving employment. Position may be located at client sites throughout U.S. telecommuting from home office may be permitted per company policy.


Requirements:


Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.


Experience: In addition to the degree, a minimum of three years post-degree progressive work experience including all of the following:

  • SharePoint architecture expertise, including taxonomy design, remote site provisioning, SharePoint search, security, workflow and specialized web parts.
  • Developing SharePoint Online environments.
  • Configuring new applications in the SharePoint Online environment.
  • Implementing data governance procedures for SharePoint environments.
  • Providing user training for SharePoint.
  • Performing migrations and using scripting tools in SharePoint.
  • Designing and developing SharePoint architecture using all of the following: Active Directory, Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server), Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Development experience, .NET frameworks, IDE, powershell, workflow, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Web Development, and third party experience with workflow (such as Nintex).
  • Performing SharePoint version migrations (2013 to 2016 and 2016 to 2019).
