Description

 

Summary/Objective:   WePlay is seeking a compassionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a caseload of clients, managing and training Registered Behavior Technicians, and working collaboratively with parents, schools, and other ancillary service providers.  

Basic Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments
    • Including administering VB-MAP and other assessment tools, creating and updating individualized treatment plans, and other pertinent documentation required by insurance. 
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 10 clients
    • Create appropriate program goals  and interventions for clients
    • Monitor progress and data and make changes to programming and interventions as necessary
    • Create and maintain client records, including contact notes and session notes, as required by insurance companies 
    • Provide parent training and regular communication to parents of clients on caseload.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training to students pursuing the BCBA credential.
  • Assist in managing daily operations of the clinic setting including: opening and closing the building, maintaining client schedules, and providing direct 1:1 therapy when needed.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and other ancillary service providers as needed.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as requested or assigned. 
Requirements

 

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or equivalent coursework.
  • Active certification as Board Certified Behavior Analyst. 
  • Experience maintaining a caseload of clients as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with a wide range of needs
  • Knowledge of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a cohesive team. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
