Position Summary
The Hispanic Ministry Coordinator administrates provides leadership to assist the Hispanic parish community and ministries in building a solid foundation within the catholic community of the Parish. This position requires weekend, evening and holiday work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule and oversee worship services for all Spanish Masses, including coverage for: Ushers, Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers.
- Design and implement group Quinceañera program.
- Assist the DRE with design and implementation of religious education programs to assist families in deepening their knowledge of the faith and to encourage the practice of Catholic Traditions in the home and community.
- Support and endorse Diocesan and Parish policies.
- Translate Prayers of the Faithful.
- Administrative tasks for Hispanic RCIA and Baptism and Weddings.
- Support and assist Hispanic Ministries with event, hall and room requests.
- Serve as a member of the Pastoral Council.
- Coordinate and plan with pastor sacramental rites for Hispanic community.
- Plan the Advent and Lenten Family Events
- Meet regularly with parish staff for planning and coordination of parish programs.

- Demonstrate capability to carry out administrative and supervisory duties in a timely fashion, utilizing good communication and relationship skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Office365, excel, word, outlook.
- Must be bi-lingual, English/Spanish
- Successful completion of parish Safe Environment program
- Desire and enthusiasm for working with all age demographics.
- Highly self- motivated, creative, energetic and assertive
- Demonstrated spiritual and emotional maturity.
- Strong organizational skills, including time management, delegation, planning, budgeting and ability to balance multiple projects at a time.
- Demonstrate capability to carry out administrative duties in a timely fashion, utilizing good communication and relationship skills

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
