ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

The AR Administrative Assistant has full responsibility for the following functions:

  • A/R billing preparation – pulling supporting documents such as POs, contracts, payment schedules in preparation for      billing.
  • Deposits, including preparing for bank, coding, and entering in to Absolute.
  • Supply Pro lien release process to trigger payment to Vintage Design, including signing-off, coding, and entering in to      Absolute.
  • Releasing homesites for installation in NextGen (aka the “Pinks” process). 
  • A/R aging analysis and follow-up
  • Various accounting projects within the department.
  • Verification that all work has been billed when a community closes.
  • General support to the Accounting Team including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and any ad hoc      needs.
Requirements

  

Required Qualifications:

· A basic understanding of mathematics and the desire to constantly be working with numbers. 

· High school graduate or equivalent.

· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, web-based software.

· Experience with all duties listed in the job description.

· Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and very well organized.

· Wants to be part of a team.


Physical Demands: 

  • Ability to sit at computer monitor for long periods throughout the day.
  • • Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time; to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between offices; to handle mail and documents; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; to lift and move up to 10 pounds; to see well enough to discern differences in quality of documents and files.
