Description

As a GSE Asset Management Analyst you will gather necessary approvals from Agency lenders such as, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. While utilizing excellent communication, you will provide audit confirmations for borrowers as requested within a timely manner. On a quarterly basis, the GSE Asset Management Analyst will accurately spread financials to assess risk within the servicing portfolio and will escalate needed repairs with the borrower. As a GSE Asset Management Analyst, you will know you were successful if you…

  • Service, maintain and troubleshoot assigned tasks related to multifamily mortgage loans.
  • Input and maintain data using various mortgage software.
  • Assist with collection and spreading and submission of operating statements and rent rolls to help assess risk.
  • Provide audit confirmations for borrower as requested.
  • Assist with gathering audit information for internal and external audits.
  • File and maintain necessary online and hardcopy forms related to loan compliance.
  • Support asset managers’ interactions with Agency regarding compliance/procedural issues.
  • Assist with collection of annual certifications required by loan covenants.
  • Review inspections, assist asset manager with deferred maintenance follow up, and submit inspections to various agencies as required.
  • Review and process replacement reserve disbursement requests.
  • Other projects as assigned.
Requirements

What we’re looking for…

  • Basic understanding of loan portfolio management desired.
  • Basic understanding of multifamily mortgage banking desired.
  • Requires problem solving skills as well as the initiative to troubleshoot and find resolutions.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to identify, interpret and apply applicable guidelines in managing assigned processes.
  • Must possess strong organization and communication skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Requires proficiency in using basic computer software such as Microsoft Office, specifically regarding Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage the demands of multiple deadlines while working as a team player with consideration for customers, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred; high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required.
