Crater/Utility- Night Shift
Description

Basic Function: Constructs skids and/or crates from pre-cut material for fans and accessories. Also assists with accessorizing fans and assembly.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Measures product with tape measure to determine dimensions of skid/crates.   
  • Follows provided work instructions and procedures         
  • Works directly from product dimensions, catalogue cards, or verbal directions to create most effective skid or crate design.
  • Measures and cuts wood to required lengths by use of tape measure and power table saw.
  • Uses pneumatic nail guns and hand tools of various sizes and weights to assemble finished skid and crate components. 
  • Mounts fans securely and safely to skids.
  • Keeps immediate work area clean and orderly.
  • Assists in Lean projects as required.
  • Uses lifting devices as required.
  • Follows all safety practices and rules.
  • Assists in various roles; primarily in Assembly.


Requirements

Qualifications and Required Skills:


  • Up to 3 months experience previous is preferred
  • Lifts frequently (60% of normal work day) material weighing 25 – 50 lbs. Lifting generally from floor level to waist level
  • Good Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Experience with power tools such as nail guns and table saw required.
  • Experience with a crane and forklift a plus.
  • Must be capable of close, distant, and color vision and have good depth perception.
  • Must reach, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • Must be reliable and willing to work overtime when required.


Salary Description
Starting at $19.00/hr-$21.00/hr
