Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our organization and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. You will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong financial acumen and technical accounting skills.
Duties
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations (e.g., IFRS)
- Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of payroll transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Manage & Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA certification is highly desirable
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
-Minimum 2 years experience with NetSuite required
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Experience with SOX compliance is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
