Description

  


The VP of GSE Consents is responsible for borrower consent requests. This position will work closely with the GSE leadership and teams. This position is responsible for managing and processing borrower consent requests, and building policies and procedures around consents and training. This position’s focus will be split between internal and external stakeholders with responsibilities that may cross platforms and departments. Success in this position will include providing exemplary support to all stakeholders while managing agency deadlines and ensuring compliance and quality of consent submissions. 


After one year as our VP of GSE Consents you will  know you are successful if you…

  • Review, Process, and/or Approve borrower consent request transactions prior to CSO certification.
  • Develop procedures and train team on consent requests.
  • Ensure consent requests are processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with guide and loan requirements.
  • Provide solutions to borrower requests outside of standard consents.
  • Manage relationships with Agencies.
  • Provide timely and accurate customer support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company.
  • Perform audits on portfolio and provide portfolio information to auditors and internal  
Requirements

  


What we are looking for…

  • Freddie Mac consent request experience required.
  • Five+ year’s role-specific experience required such as credit underwriting, asset management or portfolio management.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Requires demonstrated knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guide requirements.
  • Requires demonstrated functional competency in performing Asset Management duties.
  • Fundamentally developed understanding of loan portfolio management function required.
  • General understanding of multifamily mortgage banking required.
  • Requires problem solving skills as well as the initiative to troubleshoot and find resolutions.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to identify, interpret and apply applicable guidelines in managing assigned processes.
  • Must possess strong organization and communication skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Requires proficiency in using basic computer software such as Microsoft Office, specifically regarding Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage the demands of multiple deadlines while working as a team player with consideration for customers, co-workers and vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
