Opened in 1998 in Burton, TX by two Houston physicians and a father of a child with cancer, Camp For All is recognized as a national leader in creating and providing proven life-changing experiences through a passionate and professional staff, cutting-edge facilities and innovative programming. Camp For All enriches the lives of approximately 10,000 children, adults, and families throughout the year through collaborations and partnerships with more than 65 other not-for-profits. Programming includes Camp For All 2U, the award-winning outreach program that brings activities and programming to hospitals, schools and social service agencies.

About the Position

Camp For All seeks a Donor Relations Coordinator to provide supporters with a positive experience that begins the moment they call the office or make a gift online. This position will help advance the mission of Camp For All through careful gift entry and by appropriately recognizing and stewarding donors at all levels. 


Responsibilities

  • Primary role: Gift processing and database management (approximately 70% of time

o Facilitate entry, manage receipting, and process acknowledgement of all donations to Camp For All

o Segment prospect and mailing lists for direct mail, newsletters, events and other solicitations 

o Manage mailing lists for email communications and coordinate with Development and Marketing

o Report on Development Funding and liaise with Finance Department for reconciliation 

o Provide additional reports as needed and assist in analysis to maximize contributions 

o Track pledges and assist Development Director in follow-up 

o Remain current on database functionality and best practices for data management

o Document processes in data management for Development team and provide training for others on the team 

o Maintain digital and hard copy records related to donors and contributions, including giving history 

  • Additional duties:

o Develop and implement stewardship opportunities for current donors – with Development Director and Event team

o Implement communications plan for new donors and monthly donors 

o Support Development Committee activity with planning and documentation 

o Attend Camp For All events as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation

Pay range for this full time position is $18-$20/hour. 

Camp For All offers 100% employer paid health, life and long-term disability benefits for full time staff. Additionally, dental, vision, short term disability and supplemental life benefits are offered. 

Camp For All is proud to provide generous paid time off, earned every pay period, and includes (11) paid holidays. Eligible employees may participate in the 401k plan, with a matching employer contribution of up to 4%.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of nonprofit experience preferred
  • Interest and experience in data entry (Bloomerang, Raiser’s Edge, eTapestry, or others) and analysis a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfort with mail merge
  • Professional communication skills
  • Interest in growth and professional development 
  • Ability to work well with a diverse group of volunteers and staff 
  • Hold a valid Texas driver’s license and/or have reliable transportation 
Salary Description
$18-$20/hour
