The Federal Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Encompass Developer with a strong application of best-in-class user experience principles. You will be part of of a team that is building modules designed to support our next-generation initiatives and transform our loan origination experience. The core focus of this role will be on the "next-gen"/web application.

Our ideal candidate resides in the Chicago area with the ability to work onsite a minimum of 2 days per week at our headquarters in Logan Square (Chicago).

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing new features for Encompass 360 Loan Origination Software and supporting applications such as:
• Automate loan creation process via the API
• Support independent web application development with custom front-end
• Create and automate new features, processes, and workflows
• Create web APIs for Encompass consumption
• Perform SDK updates as needed
• Design and document application functionality
• Work directly with various departments to understand and provide technical solutions on an established timeline
• Work on various projects, such as creation of a standalone fee calculation engine to give borrowers an accurate fee schedule
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure proper coding practices are followed
• Analyze and coordinate system updates with vendors in our customized environment
• Create, build, and deploy instructions for a release team
• Provide 3rd tier production support for Business Analytics and Development staff
• Analyze production defects and implement processes to mitigate future risk
• Foster environment of collaboration and communication with the purpose of enhancing the LOS and overall company effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 2+ years of development experience specific to Encompass Loan Origination Software
• 2+ years of JavaScript experience
• 2+ years experience of .NET web development
• 2+ years of VB.net or C# and Visual Studio experience
• Ability to manage 4-5 active initiatives (support and/or projects) at a time
• Knowledge of Mortgage Software Applications (such as Ellie Mae products, TPO Connect, Velocify, Mavent, Optimal Blue, etc.)
• Knowledge of the mortgage industry life cycle of a loan, products, and policies
• Strong written and oral communication
• A desire to learn and challenge yourself
• Ability to shift focus depending on needs of the business
• Favorable credit history and background

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ellie Mae Encompass Developer Certification
• 2-6 years in Encompass Administration
• Full Stack experience strongly preferred
