SUMMARY
This position will establish, control, and oversee the activities for Kärcher Municipal Dealer Development, Sales, Marketing
and Dealer Product Training. The primary focus will be the sale of Kärcher Municipal Equipment in the assigned Area of
Responsibility (APR) in the AFL Dealer Territory for Kärcher Municipal. Secondary will be the establishment of an Industrial
dealer network across the United States. (Dealer Network not currently established)
This position is for an individual that is looking to take their entrepreneurial expertise to a whole new level. This is a new
industry for Atlanta Fork Lifts, Inc. and it creates the opportunity to build out a new business unit. It is a unique opportunity
for someone that wants to create something from scratch and grow it into a thriving dealer network across the US.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The position will develop and implement goals and objectives to meet strategic planning and profitable growth objectives
for our company. This includes working with management on business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and expense
control. This position will also assist with developing marketing material to promote equipment sales.
This position will also work with Parts, Service, Rental, and Used Equipment Sales to develop a fully rounded dealership and
dealer network. Dealer network will require warranty, technical support, parts support, and distribution, etc. Position will
be supported locally by Atlanta Fork Lifts, Inc., and Internationally by our manufacturer, Kärcher Municipal North America
(KMNA) who is headquartered in Canada, and Boston, MA.
SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in Material Handling Equipment or Industrial Sales
- 3+ years’ experience in managing/mentoring others.
- Extensive knowledge of Industrial Floor Cleaning & Street Cleaning Equipment
- Demonstrate good leadership and decision-making skills.
- Work effectively and interact with multiple levels within our organization.
- Ability to read and interpret financial reports.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Business Programs
- Good driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive spirit
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years’ experience in Material Handling Equipment or Industrial Sales
- 3+ years’ experience in managing/mentoring others.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license, and be able to maintain a good driving record
WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is in an office setting where the noise level is generally quiet to sometimes moderate if working near the shop
area. Employee occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. Employee must have normal
manual dexterity and be able to effectively manipulate keyboard and phone. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move
up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
