General Function

 NRF has a great opportunity for an individual who will be responsible for directing the production operations and event execution across 365 content delivery and live-event delivery. Oversees all production requirements and ensures execution aligns with content goals and the overall goals and objectives of NRF.   


Essential Function

  • Partner with the VP in the development of an event production planning and implementation strategy
  • Drive production best practices across team for all events and project manages team’s workflow to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery 
  • Manage production budget, including procurement activities and contract negotiations
  • Partner with technical experts in the evaluation, identification and implementation of technology and other tools that optimize overall team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Evaluate overall content; conduct post event analytics sessions, and make recommendations for year-over-year efficiency and performance improvements
  • Partner across content team to ensure appropriate briefing documents and pre-event phone calls occur to ensure relevant themes, audience demographics and program architecture
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams in the development of conference related materials, and internal stakeholders on general session keynote and create production flows and schedules for all keynote sessions
  • Work to coordinate content requirements for keynote speakers/sponsors
  • Serve as primary point for coordination of production needs and show logistics with vendors and contractors; onsite point of contact for external vendors and venue and production lead for all live events
  • Manage logistics for speakers including travel, accommodations, materials distribution and onsite logistics
  • Manage a direct report and actively invest in performance and career development 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience 
  • Minimum six years event management, operations, and/or project management experience, with at least two years’ overseeing the work of direct reports and managing external partners and relationships 
  • Excellent understanding of technical, staging and production elements of events
  • Demonstrated problem solver, with the ability to generate solutions to challenges in real-time
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with great attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication
  • Self-starter with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility of multiple tasks
  • Excellent time management skills, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with databases is a must
  • Ability to travel (up to 10%)

Salary Description
$100,00-$120,000
