FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Salary Range: $28.80 - $34.55 per hour

$56,162 - $67,380 annually

ABOUT THE POSITION:

NRPA is currently seeking a Certification Coordinator to join our Education department. 

The Certification Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the certification team by providing quality customer service, processing orders and applications, conducting database clean-up, and reviewing policies and procedures. They also provide valuable assistance to management by managing the certification inbox. The primary function of this role is to create a positive user experience for individuals external to the organization. 


Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides customer service to members and non-members within 24 hours through the certification inbox and membership inbox (as needed)
  • Assists in processing product orders and data entry as required.
  • Collaborates with team on strategies to improve processing policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to the core values of the organization – trust, continuous learning, diversity and inclusion.
  • Conference Planning and Conference Event Support

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-6 years in related field; 2-4 years position specific experience preferred; Association or P&R experience preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills required (written, verbal and interpersonal). 
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology and systems and work in the Microsoft environment, Association Management Software experience preferred (currently using iMIS)
  • Committed to working collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external colleagues and inspired to be a contributing member of an inclusive work culture.
  • Ability to convey fact-based information to others and respond to inquiries from others that may not be knowledgeable in the subject area.
  • Comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, adept at managing change effectively.
  • Detail oriented and ability to perform reconciliation on straightforward accounts.
  • Understands Diversity, Equity and Inclusion concepts and can represent those in external relationships.
