Quality Assurance Field Manager
Description

  

The role of Field Manager is responsible for managing field staff and installer relations but also works with our customers and installers to ensure projects are completed on time and meet our expected level of quality. This is a key position in our organization and vital to our overall performance as a contractor to the builder industry. As such, the field manager must be an “installer-friendly” individual and help maintain our “installer-centric” culture which is critical to our business and success. 


Essential Functions:

  

  • Hiring, training, and motivating field representatives.
  •  Assigning territories, schedules, and appropriate supplies and equipment to staff members.
  •  Traveling to customer sites and evaluating Field Representatives.
  •  Generating reports that highlight the strengths and weaknesses of each Field Representative.
  •  Helping employees to improve and tracking employee progress.
  •  Providing training programs to field representatives to ensure they can perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintaining all field rules and responsibilities and ensuring Field staff adhere to the rules.
  •  Responding to all on-call tasks and supporting the Field staff under your supervision.
Requirements

  

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  •  Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  •  Functionality in Operations, Customer Service and Sub-Contractor Management.
  •  Knowledge of flooring installation systems pertaining to single family home construction.
  • Highly collaborative and works well with others.

  

Educational Requirements:

  •  Undergraduate degree in Business or relevant field. Experience in a relative position will also be considered in lieu of college degree.
