Description

JOB SUMMARY

Order Processors are responsible for timely and accurate project documentation, communication, and implementation of residential flooring projects from start to finish. Processors serve both our internal and external customers: fulfilling customers’ needs first while maintaining profitability on each project. Successful candidates are flexible, kind, helpful, and open-minded. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. Attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team, willingness to take direction, learn from others, and have a strong mutual respect for their co-workers is mandatory.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Verify job scope and documentation from estimating teams for accuracy, including material, labor, contracts, purchase orders, billing totals, etc.
  • Generate clear and concise work orders and communicate full scope to production teams.
  • Approve material procurement to Purchasing teams. Monitor and confirm all material received prior to installing date.
  • Prepare for and resolve unexpected circumstances such as product delays and failure, subfloor issues, added scope, change orders, etc.
  • Communicate technical information, progress, and expectations to builders, customers, production, and sales teams throughout the process. 


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Two years of relevant administrative, marketing, or executive level assisting experience.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write and speak clearly
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Products: Outlook, Excel, Word
  • General understanding of basic computer operations
  • Understand and implement basic math skills
  • Infallible attendance and impeccable work ethic
  • A background in construction and flooring installation is beneficial but not required
