SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Nest56 at Denargo Market is a 56-unit supportive housing complex for young people between the ages of 18-24 in which TGTHR is the contracted service provider. While living here, residents are offered employment and education assistance, support and inclusivity groups, counseling services, life-skills development, mental and physical wellness support, housing navigation when they leave, and an array of individual and group activities. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide individual and group therapy for residents ages 18-24.
  • Provide crisis intervention, safety assessments, and occasionally issue M-1 holds
  • Utilize regular assessments to monitor client well-being and progress towards goals
  • Provide supervision, mentorship and guidance to clinical interns from both counseling and social work master’s level programs
  • Manage the data entry of clinical notes into Salesforce, TGTHR’s EHR system
  • Audit notes for accuracy and Medicaid compliance
  • Work collaboratively with the program manager and case managers to provide excellent individualized therapeutic supports including creating treatment plans, attending staffings, and collaborating with outside professionals
  • Mentor staff on youth specific approaches and philosophies including attachment theory, trauma informed care, and positive youth development. 
  • Ensure program compliance with state licensure, accreditation, and county contracts. 
  • Establish and maintain positive rapport and relationships with all residents, staff, or other community members involved at Nest56.
  • Network and build relationships with community partners to support the program.
  • Work in collaboration with the Director of Behavioral Health and Wellness to implement emerging best practices. 
Requirements
  • Currently licensed as a  clinician (LPC/LCSW/LAC/MFT/Psychologist) in the state of Colorado for at least 3 years, and be supervisor eligible (for LPCs this is the 3-3-4 rule)
  • Ability to flex schedule for evening groups
  • Ability to act as “on-call” one time monthly to support staff
  • Has a deep understanding of trauma informed/responsive care
  • Culturally competent and demonstrates commitment to continued education of social justice, especially the intersection of systems involving youth,race, sexuality, gender, ability, and socioeconomics. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership and team building skills. 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Able to understand and respect the importance of confidentiality.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a dynamic environment, in a team setting.
  • Strong computer skills, including GSuite, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time while also performing typing duties.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and other strenuous activities.

If you are hired, you will be required to prove that you have received the COVID-19 vaccine or are able to receive one within seven weeks of hire.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with youth/young adults
  • Experience working with individuals who have experienced homelessness
  • Experience working with youth who have systems involvement  
  • Bilingual, Spanish preferred

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Salary Range: $70,000-$74,000 / yr  

  • $2000 hiring bonus (after completing 12 months of employment)
