This position is responsible for providing supervision to individuals, along with the processes, in the assigned department. 

Duties in this position include the following:

• Responsible for the performance of department employees
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, peers, and upper management 
• Training and development of assigned staff
• Must be capable of effectively prioritizing work load
• Maintain the work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Assure that staff maintains a work pace consistent with standards
• Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures
• Inventory control
• Ability to write performance evaluations 
• Recommendations concerning methods of improving department performance and processes; 
• Maintain a flexible schedule
• All other duties as assigned by Manager-in-charge 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely utilize various tools in order to process merchandise
• Ability to push full boxes (up to 75 pounds) on gravity conveyors
• Ability to safely walk under trolley rail
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

Other Requirements:

• Basic math skills
• Capable of thinking independently
• Capable of performing under stress
• Ability to use hand held scanner
• Prior supervisory experience
• Computer literate
• Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
