Requirements

The Director, Business Intelligence will:


  • Design and implement data solutions that drive business impact, turning data into scalable, efficient, and automated solutions. 
  • Lead the effort to develop and deliver value-driven data solutions that demonstrate the value of our products and services to our clients and partners, across all of our product lines. 
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns and inform business decisions. 
  • Lead complex data modeling and design data analysis methodologies necessary to create insights for making business decisions. 
  • Work with partner teams to define specs, requirements, and business needs for our data systems, processes and tools. 
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement improvements drawing on statistical methods?best practices, and emerging software technology capabilities. 
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to define success criteria and performance metrics. 
  • Manage a team of business intelligence analysts, to create high quality, scalable, reliable and timely business insights. 
  • Focus on the development of the team, leveraging resources to help employees grow skillsets, encourage mentorship, and support their careers. Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching and skill development. 
  • Help to lead and drive consensus on business and operational decisions across upper management, team, and cross-organizational stakeholders. 
  • Efficiently manage dependencies and navigate bottlenecks to boost team efficiency, streamlining processes for clear execution; proactively tackle and resolve challenges in cross-functional coordination and organizational alignment. 


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong business acumen
  • Executive presence
  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable using data & insights to grow relationships by identifying and solving problems 
  • Experience working in Tableau, Quicksight, or other similar analytics toolset.  
  • Proficient in SQL and other coding languages. 
  • Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems and tools. 
  • Deep understanding of Google Analytics platforms to measure behavioral data. 

Education and Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years experience in business, engineering, computer science or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years people management experience. 
  • Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. 
  • Experience building and managing high-performing data teams; a demonstrated track record of driving innovation and helping to shape business strategy with data. 
  • Automotive and/or SaaS experience is highly preferred. 




Salary Description
