Medical Assistant
Description



We are seeking  cross-trained CERTIFIED Medical Assistant for our diverse family medicine practice. The ideal candidates will be  high-energy individuals with excellent communication skills,  positive attitudes, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. These individuals will possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. These candidates will support the organization’s mission and purpose by providing first-line patient support and care. Candidates must be reliable, compassionate, coach-able, and driven by serving. Medical Assistant responsibilities directly correlate to PCMH, CPC+, MIPS, eCQM's & Survey Data.


Qualifications and Skills

At Least 1 Year Medical Assisting Experience

Medical Assistant Certification

High School Diploma or Equivalent



SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Day and Evening/Plus Weekend Part Time

Days 8am-5pm

Evening 5pm-9pm

Every Other Saturday Plus 5th Saturdays 8am-1pm



Per-DIem

As Needed and Agreed per Monthly Scheduling in advance.

Every Other Saturday Plus 5th Saturdays 8am-1pm

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

• Utilize the Electronic Health Record, scheduling system to coordinate appointments, communicate with patients, providers and

internal staff

• Assists the clinician in managing the flow of patient care

• Prepares the patient for their visit with the provider by taking vital signs, temperature, review of systems, update medical

histories, medication reconciliation, vaccines, lab draw(s) etc

• Cross-training for communication and documentation in EHR

• Perform and accurately document required information


Salary Description
$17-$20 hr
