About the Role:

Brinkman Construction is seeking an energetic and relationship-focused Office Administrator to join our growing Denver Office! This position serves as the face of the company, presenting professionalism and organization in all interactions. An attitude of “whatever it takes!” will be the foundation to success, owning the multitude of duties required to keep the office operating effectively and efficiently. Maintaining a positive outlook and finding joy in your daily tasks not only shows in your work, but it is contagious to those around you, be it clients, vendors, or visitors. This description does not eliminate other duties as they arise for this dynamic role. 


Essential Functions: 

  • Answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Greet and direct all visitors in a warm and welcoming manner.
  • Maintain orderly appearance to the front reception area.
  • Maintain all conference rooms for readiness upon arrival each day, immediately following meetings, and end of each day.
  • Coordinate setup for larger meetings, including preparation of refreshments, snacks, and/or lunches as needed. 
  • Manage kitchen maintenance including loading and unloading dishwashers, making coffee and iced tea, wiping off counters, and set up for the next day. 
  • Manage copier maintenance by reloading paper, checking supplies to ensure backstock, and liaising with IT for technical support when needed. 
  • Regularly monitor office supplies, kitchen supplies, and groceries and restock accordingly in a timely manner. 
  • Perform light cleaning in conference rooms, kitchen, copy area, and other necessary spaces to maintain office functionality. 
  • Work with company leadership to plan and coordinate company meetings, holiday parties, town hall meetings, and other large employee gatherings. 
  • Create name plates for new employees and update the company seating chart. 
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or equivalent.      
  • Minimum of two years experience in a receptionist or office administrative role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with employees, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and any other visitors.
  • Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly.
  • Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day.
  • Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively in all forms of communication.
  • Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant and welcoming experience for all employees and visitors by being personable and attentive.
  • Experience coordinating meetings/events for groups up to 200 people highly preferred.

Annual Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000. Pay is commensurate with technical skills and experience.
