Description

This position is part of Sheehan’s accounting services team and is responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations, as needed. Additional responsibilities include General Ledger (GL), assistance with credit card reconciliation, along with other tasks as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Accounts Payable / General Ledger (GL) best practices
  • Microsoft Office; specifically, strong Excel
  • 3E financial software or similar enterprise accounting system proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures and instructions to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Operates with impeccable ethics, a positive attitude and a high degree of professionalism
  • Good math aptitude and the ability to work accurately with numbers
  • Team oriented with the ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new skills
  • Customer service orientated 
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of three years of work experience in a professional office environment with enterprise accounting software experience. Demonstrated attention to detail, problem solving abilities and strong aptitude for working with numbers. Strong MS Office Suite inclusive of Excel skills. Private law firm accounting experience with 3E and/or other law firm financial software experience preferred. EOE
