Description
- Reports to the Senior Project Manager or Project Manager, if assigned.
- The Assistant Project Manager Position is intended to be a learning, support, light management, and mentoring position in the Company.
- Train Project Engineers and other Assistant Project Managers in learning the basics of construction and Myers & Chapman Playbook.
- Can be stationed on a project site or at the home office.
- Can be assigned multiple projects at one time.
- Successfully establish and complete a yearly Growth Plan.
- If a Project Engineer has not been assigned to a project, then the Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the tasks of the Project Engineer and assist the Project Manager with the following:
- Change Order Assimilation
- Generating Meeting Agenda’s and Meeting Minutes
- Project billings
- PFSR Management
- Cash flow projections
- Project buyout and contract/PO writing
- Schedule management
- Leading portions of OAC meetings
- Leading various other project meetings
- Manage the following processes:
- Submittals
- Shop Drawings
- RFI’s
- Plan Changes
- Specification Changes
- Completion Lists
- Procurement Log
- Occupancy Matrix
- Punch Lists
- Close Out Documents
- Meeting Agenda’s
- Meeting Minutes
- Assist the Project Team with any daily activities as requested.
