Description
  • Reports to the Senior Project Manager or Project Manager, if assigned.
  • The Assistant Project Manager Position is intended to be a learning, support, light management, and mentoring position in the Company.
  • Train Project Engineers and other Assistant Project Managers in learning the basics of construction and Myers & Chapman Playbook.
  • Can be stationed on a project site or at the home office.
  • Can be assigned multiple projects at one time.
  • Successfully establish and complete a yearly Growth Plan.
  • If a Project Engineer has not been assigned to a project, then the Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the tasks of the Project Engineer and assist the Project Manager with the following:
  • Change Order Assimilation
  • Generating Meeting Agenda’s and Meeting Minutes
  • Project billings
  • PFSR Management
  • Cash flow projections
  • Project buyout and contract/PO writing
  • Schedule management
  • Leading portions of OAC meetings
  • Leading various other project meetings
  • Manage the following processes:
  • Submittals
  • Shop Drawings
  • RFI’s
  • Plan Changes
  • Specification Changes
  • Completion Lists
  • Procurement Log
  • Occupancy Matrix
  • Punch Lists
  • Close Out Documents
  • Meeting Agenda’s
  • Meeting Minutes
  • Assist the Project Team with any daily activities as requested.
