Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Director’s principal function is to manage our Myrtle Beach Division including but not limited to: Operations, sales and business activities in our Myrtle Beach, SC location/locations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Providing the highest level of customer service to all customers
  • Building sales to meet goals
  • The development of both Markraft/location builder and multi-family sales
  • Vendor Relationships
  • Coaching and Developing Pooler Employees
  • Addressing feedback from customers on job performance
  • Merchandising and presentations of products in Sales Center and the operation of the Sales Center/Centers
  • Developing Long Term Plan and specific short-term goals with President and CEO
  • Having a Vision for building the Team
  • Being a Leader, innovative in your approach and accountable to responsibilities
  • Continued responsibility on business development/strategic execution of acquiring new customers
  • Developing an effective strategic sales plan
  • A weekly execution plan in coordination with the President
  • Follow up on all contacts until conversion to customer status or disqualification as a prospect
  • Develop and execute a transition plan for all new customers.
  • Follow up on all multi-family and builder quotes
  • Coordinate all quotes with estimating team or sales team and strategize appropriate product and GP to fit customer needs
  • Work with the inside Service Team to provide services as required

Target customer list to include prospects in the following areas:

  • Apartment management companies, apartment owners and apartment contractors
  • Multi-family builders (architects and developers)
  • Two step dealers
  • Single Family Builders
  • Retail Customers


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Ability to utilize quoting software (Ufactory)
  • Ability to design in 20/20.
  • Management and sales experience
  • Understanding how the Company operates and accepting the role of the Regional Sales Director within those operations
  • Utilizing appropriate interpersonal styles and methods of communication to gain agreement or acceptance of an idea, plan, activity or product
  • Ability to give and receive information effectively in writing, orally and non-verbally, effectively leveraging people’s diversity in decision making
