Description

This HR Manager opportunity is for an experienced HR Professional to be part of the creation and advancement of the HR function with a well-established San Diego based construction company. 


The HR manager will lead, develop, and oversee all HR and Payroll functions for the company.  The growth path for this role is limitless for the right candidate who takes ownership and elevates the role.

A successful candidate will: 

· be capable of taking complex matters and simplifying them for leadership and personnel 

· build a plan for advancing the HR function hire to retire 

· have a solid understanding of HR technology, and experience with implementing tech

· possess payroll knowledge and ideally past hands-on payroll experience (payroll processing is not part of this role, but the roll will oversee payroll)

· be versed in employee benefits administration and design 

· be forward thinking, proactive and lean into challenge and change

· have strong communication skills and understand when to lean in to difficult conversations

· be collaborative and also comfortable making decisions on their own

· enjoy HR!


Compensation will be based on HR Manager’s experience and contribution: $105,000 - $125,000

Requirements

· Minimum 7 progressive years of HR experience

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HRM, Business Management or Administration 

o Consideration may be given to individuals with an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

· Advanced knowledge of California Wage and Hour laws, California Labor Code, FLSA, and Federal Contractor Requirements 

· Experience working with government agencies such as the DIR, DLSE, DOL, OFCCP, etc. highly preferred. 

· Proven history of building and successfully executing HR programs. 

· Advanced computer and technology skills. 

· Ability to learn new technology quickly. 

· Forward thinking, collaborative, decisive, and positive work style. 

Salary Description
$105,000 - $125,000
