Description

JOB SUMMARY 

Responsible for managing the coordination of material orders. Ability to create an encompassing order that addresses all installation timelines, amongst our variety of manufacturers and suppliers. Function as liaison and effective communicator between sales team and manufacturers and suppliers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Interpret reports in order to determine what materials need ordered to ensure timely arrival 
  • Communicate and address any delayed or unprocessed material orders to parties of interest 
  • Confirm and document confirmation of materials on order 
  • Responsively order any urgent materials/supplies upon request 
  • Confirm pricing in accordance with corporate pricing agreement 
  • Coordinate and apply product updates from manufacturers and suppliers

  

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Two or more years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Prior purchasing experience preferred.
  • Education or work experience demonstrating ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers both verbally and in writing.
  • Education or work experience demonstrating mathematical ability related to basic calculations of fractions, decimals, and square footage.
  • Education or work experience demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on Excel.
