Description

SUMMARY

The Marketing Communications Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to support strategic growth of SPR Therapeutics by coordinating the promotion of the company’s products and services across a variety of communication channels in collaboration with internal Marketing, Professional Education, Research and Development, Sales, and Compliance teams, as well as with a variety of external marketing partners. This position will also support and coordinate internal communications programs to aid in promoting company culture, hiring and retention of employees and awareness and participation in company events and key initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the development and manages updates to the marketing communications integrated marketing plan and tactical calendar.  
  • Assists in the coordination of print production, materials fulfillment, digital asset management and brand standards updates.
  • Coordinates the review and updates of the company Master Branded Deck with internal subject matter experts (SME). This deck is used for the development of presentations for professional education, society meetings and symposia. This includes meeting scheduling, timeline management, and coordination of content submitted for review and approval to the Promotion Review Team (PRT).
  • Manages adherence to the PRT checklist for all marketing documents submitted for review.
  • Coordinates the PRT checklist completion with product marketing and marketing communication content owners prior to submission of all documents into AirTable for OneDrive approval. This includes proofreading and reviewing for trademark accuracy and appropriate brand representation.
  • Manages the cleaning and proofreading of documents following OneDrive approval and partners with the content owner on the final document review against the PRT checklist prior to document submission into Compliance Quest (CQ). 
  • Partners with internal and external agency/creative partners in the development of communication elements, ensuring they are on schedule and budget.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams such as digital marketing, events, sales, and product marketing on marketing communication initiatives.
  • Works to ensure consistency in branding, key messaging, and audience experience across channels.
  • Supports team in tracking/monitoring key performance indicators for marketing campaigns.
  • Works with the Tradeshow/Events team to develop & coordinate communications to support industry meetings and trade show exhibits. 
  • Supports the campaign lead in the development and the coordination of internal/corporate communications.
  • Uses and champions internal project management tools and processes. 
  • Supports Marketing Communications’ vendor relationships and workstreams.11 Identifies and shares marketing communication best practices including reviews of industry and competitive marketing communications, to inform SPR marketing strategies.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Experience, Competencies, Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience with B2B-focused marketing communications, internal communications, social media, public relations, or advertising.
  • Understanding of marketing communications strategies and executions to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, yet independently productive.
  • Strong verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Acute attention to detail including communication reviews for brand standards, brand voice, campaign consistency, grammar, and other comprehensive proofreading. 
  • Adaptable and flexible work style and approach to teamwork.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Time management skills. 

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Experience within medical device or healthcare is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Word Press.
  • Experience with marketing automation and sales enablement tools (Pardot/Salesforce).
  • Budget management skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability and willingness to “get the job done”, allowing for flexible and extended hours, depending upon the project needs.
  • Mid-sized office environment (does own documentation and interacts directly with others in most situations).
  • Travel will be minimal (occasional travel to Cleveland home office and industry meetings).
