This position is at our Montrose/Fairlawn location only; zip code 44333. 5am-1pm shift, 5 days per week with every other weekend off.
Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs variety of culinary (cooking) duties in production oriented, scratch kitchen. Cooks food for the Market Kitchen and catering events following the recipes and pre-determined quantities. Follows proper sanitation procedures and temperature controls to comply with health code regulations.

- Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures.
- Maintains high standards of sanitation, product quality, product mix and overall safety.
- Follows recipes and adheres to Mustard Seed Market ingredient standards.
- Assists manager in maintaining well-stocked and merchandised department.
- Assists manager with developing new recipes in accordance with guidelines.
- Assists with off premise catering.
- Assists with training Market Kitchen staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
Works in a non-smoking, normal store environment where there is not physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, etc.
