Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of accounting? Our client, I2Vision Inc., is offering a paid summer internship designed to provide aspiring accountants with valuable insights and practical skills. This internship is based out of the home office of the CFO. This internship will last for 10-12 weeks, with interns expected to commit to 2-3 days per week, onsite at the home of the CFO.

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks.
• Assist with project accounting reconciliation.
• Assist with credit card and bank statement reconciliations, audit, and imports.
• Support the accounting team with month-end and quarter closing processes.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
• 2-3 days per week, 5-8 hours per day, 16-24 hours per week
• Candidate is required to commute to the home office of the CFO off Clairemont Mesa Blvd. in San Diego for all hours worked.
• Ideal start date by end of May 2024

Competencies:

• Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
• QuickBooks Online Experience a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Previous accounting or finance internship experience is a plus.
