Overview

Credit Card Systems Administrators are responsible for the configuration of Corecard processing platform settings; monitors inventory processes; designs and implements solutions; has knowledge of various credit card processing systems; and has a deep understanding of system functionality.

We’re looking for an independent, highly motivated, and knowledgeable Credit Card Systems Administrator to support our credit card processing platforms. This individual is responsible for solving complex problems, identifying innovative solutions, defining and driving changes to the credit card processing platforms for internal and external stakeholders. 

This is an exempt position. The hours of the position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT with additional hours as necessary. This position is based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota but remote employment is possible.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Provide subject matter expertise on credit card processing platforms to accomplish desired business objectives
  • Translate business requirements into processing platform settings.
  • Develop, document and execute system changes timely and accurately through each step of the change control process on the CoreCard platforms
  • Proactively identify issues and determine solutions both pre and post implementation while adhering to implementation deadlines
  • Respond to inquiries submitted to the internal ticket system timely and accurately
  • Maintain and configure settings to ensure card packages are accurate
  • Manage plastic related inventory
  • Configure and build statements on the processing platforms
  • Build and test Letters on the processing platforms
  • Work with internal and external teams on implementing fraud mitigation tools
  • Coordinate and communicate with Client Services on client-impacting projects
  • Proactively identify operational opportunities to increase service quality or efficiency
  • Represent team as CoreCard system SME in cross-functional projects

Requirements
  • 2+ years’ experience updating and managing processing platform settings on CoreCard, Fiserv (FDR), and or TSYS; including but not limited to PCF (Product Control File), DMM (Decision Management Tables), Rules and DQ (DecisionQuest), OMR (Options Maintenance Request)
  • Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Experience with financial processes/standards such as PCI, fraud, payments, credit bureau reporting, etc.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with exceptional problem-solving capabilities
  • Must demonstrate sound decision-making and ability to react quickly under pressure

Physical Requirements

The work is of an intellectual nature. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is required to stand and sit for prolonged periods. Specific vision abilities required include close and medium distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal sounds, distinguish sound as voice and communicate through human speech. This position requires the ability to operate a keyboard, computer mouse, telephone, fax, copier, writing tools, and other standard office equipment. On an occasion, an employee will be asked to lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.

Salary: 

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $92,000 per year.
